We thought you'd like to see this picture we took this evening as we took a quick trip down to Stokes Bay car park this evening to have a look at the USS George H.W Bush aircraft carrier. The Nimitz-class super carrier took 6 years to construct and cost a whopping $6.2billion. It has 2 nuclear reactors and 4 steam turbines giving 194 Megawatts of power! There are 3200 personnel on board and she holds 90 aircraft!! 90 aircraft!!! That is unbelievable!

Anyway if you're anywhere near the Solent it's well worth a look, but be quick as it leaves on Tuesday (August 1st) as far as we're aware.
